Eibach coil spring spacer - remember them?
Gentz,
I am in need of a set of the 10mm Eibach spacers that Eibach supplied
when they did a run of coil springs that were too short and caused
the rear of the car to be too low.
I tried calling Eibach, was promptly told they never made a kit for the
S4 and they had no records of a coil spring spacer.
The spacer ECS Tuning sells is only for use with the Bilstein shocks,
I have switched back to stock Boge/Sachs shocks and this spacer will not
work as the Bilstein shock body is bigger than the Boge/Sachs is.
If anyone has one of the spacers, or recalls a part number I would
love to know about it.
Tx
Chris

Don't you know anybody with access to a lathe that could make them on your specification? Worst case find a local machine shop to do it.
That is what I plan to do to raise the rear of my S4 that has Bilstein HD and '92 spec coils. I will have a "sleeve" maked to insert between the lower spring seat and the snapring that is used to hold the seat to the absorber.
btw, do you have direct link to the ESC one? I was not able to find it on their website

MacWorld, seeing how you have Bilstein's just use these:
http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-C4_S6-...Shocks/ES1587/
they have them in 13mm and 20mm.

Exactly. Here is a photo of one of the Eibach spacers that I took out an Eibach envelope this morning. Looks the same as the ECS spacers (or more correctly, vis versa).
The OD is about 55 mm. The ID is about 53.2 mm. The outside height is 14.3 mm, the inside height from the lip down is about 11 mm.
