Failing that, you could carefully drill out the lock cylinder and try to manipulate the lever which opens the latch. That will be tricky but probably workable. Hopefully when drilled out you can just turn the lock with a screwdriver.
As I recall from looking at the lock mechanism, there is a long arm made of brass-colored rod about 3/16" thick which goes from a pivot on the lock cylinder to the latch in the center of the trunk. If you pull that the correct way (only done via the solenoid when the lock cylinder is in the non-valet position), the trunk will open. The tricky part will be getting to it.
It's possible that if you can get the cylinder to turn with a screwdriver (+/- drill) then you can use the electric opener to unlatch it.
I guess if I were me I'd go at it with the drill if the graphite + vigorous key action didn't work. You most likely have to replace the lock cylinder anyway.
