Is anyone else severely disappointed by the lack of V2L support on the Q6 e-tron (or other alternatives like V2G or V2H)?
I had the e-tron SUV (now Q8 e-tron), but wanted something smaller after my lease was up in early 2024. The Q6 kept getting delayed, so I went with the Genesis GV70 Electrified. It's a great car, but I do miss Audi a bit, and miss the air suspension that the e-tron SUV had (that thing just soaked up road imperfections).
However, I love the V2L that the Genesis offers. I'm not going to say it's something I use everyday, as it's not. However, during emergencies, it's amazing. It saved my butt after our last hurricane knocked out power for 4 days. It kept my refrigerator going (so, no food lost!), my network/internet up, and let me use my computers and TVs.
While I really love how the Q6 turned out, and have a good Audi dealer, the lack of V2L/H/G is going to make me think long and hard about whether or not I jump back to Audi after this lease.
Edited to add: Also the Genesis mobile app is far superior to anything Audi. It's not as "nice looking," but it's functional and reliable. Remote climate control works, every time. There were so many times with the Audi app that the remote climate wouldn't function that I lost count.
