0 TO 60 HELP????

Need to be educated on the most optimal way to achieve the best 0 - 60 time. I’ve recently been opening it up and tried a a couple of times last week and getting around 5.0 seconds, which is higher than the listed time of 4.3 and way higher than the Car and Driver’s 3.6. I’m attempting this from a stop and letting the transmission shift itself and am experiencing that lag to start, and using the lap timer which starts when the vehicle moves. I hope I’m doing it wrong…..??

Have you tried launch mode? I was able to make it work on regular Q8 but assume you are talking about SQ8 which should also have it.

To do so turn off ESC completely holding button down, depress brake fully and give it gas. You’ll see launch mode activated appear on the gauge cluster and should be good from there where it will build boost but not move.

Let me know how it goes as I won’t have my SQ8 until spring so curious how you can do.

are you using a vbox or something to time yourself?

I seem to remember reading that the magazines don’t start the timer until just past tip in to avoid that first 1.4 seconds of lag. They have some explanation on how that’s fair…..
