Default Help me make a selection please

Merry Christmas everyone. I am looking to get my first Audi. I'm upgrading from a Nissan Sentra to a Q8. I am targeting Premium Plus 2019 model.
The cars are attached below because one was removed from the internet. I wanted to know if I should save some money and avoid the adaptive suspension. I've read it goes bad after a couple of thousand miles but I really love the aggressive look of it

Is the matrix headlight worth is worth the cost?

Option 1 - Original cost $79k - Listed on CarGurus and sticker file is attached. It is listed for $45,390 with 58k miles. I might be able to get this at a lower price.
Option 2 - Original cost $83 - No longer listed. The sticker file is attached. It was listed for $47,998 with 55k miles

I WFH so I don't expect to rack up many miles. I'm thinking of 3-4 years of ownership.

merry christmas! and welcome.

it is hard for one person to say what features are worth it to another, but a good way to get ideas is to ask why people like or don’t like a feature.

i know the current models have the option for air suspension but i don’t know if that is what adaptive suspension is. air is popular.

i like the prestige trim because it comes with little features that you don’t really think about, but are convenient. my first audi was prestige trim because i wanted a black headliner and the dealer was only ordering those in prestige trim cars, but as it turned out it had other touches and convenient details that i ended up liking. so now with my sq8 i ordered it as prestige again.

Sorry, I meant the more expensive one comes with an Adaptive Air Suspension. It has the Adoptive Chassis package and HD Matrix LED headlights.

Congrats on your SQ!!!

If it works out well for me with the Q8 then the SQ8 is my next stop. Are you leasing it?

I agree with @ThomasWShea . Air suspension with 4-wheel steering and Prestige with all it's creature comforts are my favorites, and options I could not do without.

i always got the impression from all the car restoration show i watch that air suspension is just what you want...so i am going to be curious to see how it does. haven't heard of it having a short life.

Between the 3 Q7's, the S8 and the RS Q8 all of which had/have air-suspension, I've probably put more than 250,000 miles on Audi air suspension. Only one failure due to a damaged hose to the drivers front strut caused by road debris. I'd say the system is well sorted.

Nice. I am new to the game so I don't have to buy something that will break after 2000 miles. I might just get the Q8 with the air suspension then. I think my wife will like it too.

The HD matrix headlights do an animation on vehicle lock/unlock. it sets the car apart, that is for sure. you can search you tube for videos. In the US, the actual matrix functionality isn't turned on in the software yet. The matrix functionality (when turned on in the software) dynamically "de-lluminates" and illuminates areas of the headlight while you are driving to keep the roadway lit, and to keep light out of oncoming driver's eyes. you can also find videos where people have enabled the software in the US and it's pretty cool when enabled. my experience with audi is that you always want the nicest lighting option that they offer for a car. audi is known for their lighting.

+1 for air and rear wheel steering. Steering really helps when parking. Air suspension does allow for noticeable ride quality differences, but can’t speak to reliability personally.
