Sorry, but "no". As far as I know, nobody has discovered so far the coding which disables permanently start/stop in MY2020+ models. New 2021 BMW X5/X6 models even don't have start/stop button.

I saw an interesting solution to deactivate start / stop, but it requires the involvement of a good electronics expert. It is a small electronic system connected to the start / stop button, which, after starting the engine, gives an impulse to deactivate the system, just like the driver would do by pressing the start / stop button.
The electronic system itself is not very complicated, but it requires physical connection to the start / stop button wiring. It is therefore a solution for extremely desperate car users irritated by this system. The advantage of this solution is that if the driver presses the button, it will activate start / stop system. So the order is reversed.

I honestly don't know why the company wouldn't allow us the option of just disabling it permanently. My 2019 Volvo XC 40 allows us to turn off this feature permanently within the settings that is stored to the driver profile. Seems like an easy option for car manufacturers. There's no law that states they must not allow its customers the option to disable it permanently so not quite sure why manufacturers insist on making it difficult for us to disable. I know it's due to the emissions numbers they advertise but come on.
