Can tall people fit in the R8???
Sadly... not very comfortably. I sat in the R8 today for the first time and had a bitch of a time getting in and out of the car. Once in, and with the steering wheel all the way up and out, I was fairly comfortable. Exiting was also difficult though.
This is a chronic problem if you are tall. I do not fit well in anything from Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, etc... and now add the R8 to that list.
I am 6'4" 1/2.
Upside was that there was plenty of head room.

Jason, the real issue is not how tall you are. Tall drivers can be accommodated comfortably...

Front wheel placement, some offset impact issues and the decision to add the cargo space aft of the seats seem to the primary culprits for the tighter legroom than headroom. And unlike the TT, this one <i>needs</i> the flat-bottomed steering wheel.

I was standing talking to Jeff Kuhlman and you came up and told us some good news... but you were rushing to do some feature or something on the R8 and I think you were very distracted!
You owe me one now, ha.
Agree - needs the flat bottomed steering wheel and I have longer legs than a longer torso. I was OK once I was in but it was not very easy getting in in the first place.
