No it will not. 3-yr warranty so just send back if you have a problem. Even Audi doesn't do that...

Warranty is against any cracking, peeling, fading, sun damage, or discoloration of any kind.

hmm, thats a pretty cool deal....

especially since everything i heard says real carbon fiber turns green under heat and there is no way to avoid that.

Not true...

There are specific resins to use for high temp areas. B5 RS4 engine trim is aprime example. I've never seen any turn green like the B7.

All the B7 RS4 engine trim is turning shades of green...

Very unfortunate and not covered under warranty.

personally i dont really mind too much that it turns green, it starts conversations sometimes:)

especially if its green CF for free or black CF for 10k.

Surprising that the carbon look has lasted this long. I find it dated now.

Isn't carbon now standard on the PT Cruiser?
