2018 SQ5 “Entertainment System Currently Unavailable”
So in the middle of driving the other day my radio and screen shut off abruptly. The dashboard screen says “ Entertainment System Currently Unavailable” and the media display is black. There’s no radio sound but there’s other noises like with the parking assist (camera doesn’t display). I checked the fuses and they looked good.
Service cant get me in until September 5th. Any ideas??

They said that the power cord to the MMI system was pinched and that’s what caused everything to shut off. They had no explaination as to how that could happen. Took 2 days to fix it but seems to working normally now

Thanks. I am having the same issue. Was yours under warranty? Mine is more than one year old. How much did they charge you?
