Alpine Setup
Okay Guys I know this might sound strange but I want to go all Alpine. But the thing is im trying to think of how to power the Type Rs i am about to get. Should I get a different brand amp and what amp do you guys recommend. Also when I get a new hu should I just shell out the extra for a 4 channel amp and at the same hookup all of my speakers with better guage. I dont have the car yet but I am planning to get a great install thanks.

Go to alpine-usa.com and work with their "system builder" to get their recommendations for matching components.
In 19 years of Alpine systems ownership I have no problems to report. You may be able to find better specs for the money, but this is pretty solid equipment. You get what you pay for.

PS: Also plan on installing a power antenna as the stock Audi antannas don't work well with aftermarket units.
