AVIC-D3 Reception Problem
I installed an AVIC-D3 last weekend and I'm not getting good FM reception and no AM reception. The install kit cam with the adapter below. The sales guys assured me that it would work. It does plug in fine, but I'm wondering if I got the wrong adapter.

The AW tech article said to get this one. Does anyone know if this one would fix my problem?

Also, there are two wires on that went to the back of the Symphony I that are not currently plugged into anything. One is a brown plastic rectangular shaped plug and the other is a small round plug. Anyone know what those two plugs are for?

I have the right part and the reception on my W200 still sucks.
I wonder if I should put that foam insulator around the metal body of the adapter. I'm not sure if it's actually doing anything but hey, it couldn't hurt at this point.
