CD changer installation problems......help needed
I just got the changer from Clair and I can't get it to work. Installed it accoring to the FAQ, put the CD's in, turned on the radio and pressed the mode button, nothing happens. Turned off the radio pressed the mode button and turned the radio on again. NO CDC message appreard. Changer is getting the power because I can hear it "DOING STUFF" when I insert the magazine or turn the radio on. I searched the archives but did not find definitive answer, all I found is few people that had the same problem. Help gratly appreciated. Thanks

I remember reading somewhere that the newer radios need to be "told" a CD changer is present somehow (I believe via the Audi service tool.)
Hopefully, I'm NOT right about this...
