Concert II+/III bench power hookup?
<center><img src="http://tinyurl.com/63xnld"></center><p>I want to be able to bench my 2008 A3 Concert II+/III headunit, to find out its true capabilities among other reasons. Anybody know if this is possible,and if so, which pins to give +12 and ground? (I get +UB and Gnd -- it's the turn-on sensor I'm missing.) Is CANBus involved? I don't want to start applying +12 to pins indiscriminately...

Sorry for posting in such an old topic but this topic finally helped me out getting my radio to work.
Normally not too bad with electrics but previous owner replaced HU with some crappy one and the wiring was a mess. Bought double DIN cage and concert 2 on ebay. Wanted to test the radio and never got it to power up in the car until I read this thread. The wire harness that came with the radio doesn't even have a wire going to DI-SENS is this normal?
Which connection needs constant+ and which one the IGN+? (Diagram identical to the one posted by OP)

Oh I forgot, car is equipped with can-bus (as far as I can tell, got wires connected to CAN/L and CAN/H). Can I power +UB and DI-SENS with the same pwr supply in the car? (will that work and will the radio switch on/off with the keys?).
