Couldn't solve this issue at all - Electric functionality
Dears,
I really need your help, I've Audi A6 2.0L FWD 2013 model, two years ago, the trunk got stuck and can't open at all, I though it's a battery issue, I replaced it and it didn't function.
Then I started checking the latch, and it was in a good condition, the important thing I noticed is the start button and the Auto Start-Stop system aren't working as well, meaning I have to bring the key to the Key-Sensor area to start the car, sometimes (very rare) when pressing Start button, the car starts without having to bring the key to the sensor area, when that happens, Trunk opens and Start-Stop system work.
Can you guide me through possible reasons?
- Key battery changed multiple times and no impact.
- Battery changed twice in two years and no impact (current one is Varta original battery bought from the dealer).
- Took the car to the dealer for pre-programing keys and no impact
Except that, everything in the car looks normal and nothing indicates any issues

When you say the trunk can't open, you mean it won't open with the release switch in the driver's door? And won't open with the button on the key fob? And won't open using the exterior trunk lid button after you've unlocked the car fully (all doors unlocked by pressing unlock on the key fob twice)?
Did you check the setting in the car settings that can impact unlocking of the trunk? I forget the setting.

Most of the time car not starting when pressing start button and Auto-Start-Stop system not working as well as the trunk.
Thoughts?

You probably need to start with a scan for DTCs and see what's recorded. It would be helpful to go through the measuring values in the relevant modules to assess what controls are being acknowledged and what controls are not during the problem scenario. I'm sure the issue can be worked out, but it'll take analyzing the situation with the scan tool and someone who knows what data is found where to define actionable conclusions. I don't have a C7.0, so I cannot help you any directly.
