Eclipse Navigation/Video problem
Hello,
I have a 2001 S4 with Bose, and I have installed a Eclipse AVN 5435 unit. I don't know much about car audio, but this is my problem. First off, every time I move any TWO of my windows up and down, the unit resets. Like, if I press the button for the two front windows to move up or down, the unit turns off. Also, the unit says Audio off, and I don't have any sound coming from my speakers, but then, after a few days of no sound, I will get sound again. Does anyone know anything at all about this? What really does'nt make any sense is the windows, I didnt even touch anything over there. Please Help. Thanks

That's unusual behavior in a major appliance.
You need a voltmeter.
1) Check across ACC and GND at the back of the HU. What is it?
2) Then hit the windows. What happens to the voltage?
If this tests fine, repeat the tests from BAT to GND.
When the unit says audio off, the audio is off and only the nav function is operating. Hit the POWER button.
If the power button doesn't work
