ECU/ ECM problem ?
I have A4 2003 (B6).
My car is showing multiple error codes. Went to the dealer, and after examination he discovered that my cover box for ECU is slightly broken. He mentioned that the reason for error codes are the corroded cables. Which became corroded due to broken cover.
The only way it could get broken is when I had my car chipped. Now I am stock.
Cover is slightly broken, plus on VW cars the ECM/ECU cable is not protected at all, it is exposed.
Did anyone hear about this?
What should I do the cable replacement is expensive.
Dealer refuses to talk to me.
