help installing headunit
i need to know how to install a head unit into my 99.5 bose concert. i do not wanna buy a speaker-level to line-level converter. can someone give me a step by step please

Going single or double-din for aftermarket?
I assume you are running amps and new speakers??
What model Audi do you have?

its a 99.5 a4 im going to run a kenwood unit, single din.....
no no speakers or new amps. would like to use the stock amps if i can. and i really do not wanna run speaker wire to each speaker.

All you need is the Bose RCA adapter & a fascia plate
The RCA adapter allows you to plug the front & rear standard RCA's from the Kenwood into the Audi/Bose harness to feed the Bose amp.
You may experience a really annoying "pop" when turning the unit on (and sometimes when selecting CD tracks), but this does seem to vary from setup to setup.
Ideally you'd be better driving the speakers directly from the HU, but the Bose units are 2 ohm impedance so they would fry the internal amp in the Kenwood.
