Installing Sub on a 2002 Symphony

I have a Symphony HU with indash CD changer (6)
I know there's a subwoofer in the trunk.. 8" but its output is closes to none.

I'd like to know how difficult is to have an amp and sub installed on the B6 A4's with the original HU.

easy - best way is to get an amp with speaker inputs and tap the existing sub wires.

2nd, if you are clever, you can also run the remote to the subs Amp power

and have your subs come on when the radio is on (not when the car is on)

Esiest way is to pickup the line-level outputs and remote amp-on from either

your stock amp or rear speaker with built-in amp (depending on whether you have Bose or not).

Then instal your new amp and maybe even upgrade the subwoofer to something more decent.
