Waiting for 2014 Q5 delivery. Does the MMI navigation system allow someone to track my whereabouts, either in real time or in a history?
I know this sounds old fashioned in today's world, but I like to keep my life as private as I can. Would not want someone to be able to check my nav system and see a log of where I've been, nor would I want them to be able to see in real time.

Does "Last Destinations" count?
Not sure it this counts but there is a "Last Destinations" option that shows all the destinations that you have navigated to recently.
Otherwise I'm not sure but would love to know as well.

A destinations log would make sense
I could see the value of being able to quickly recall recent destinations that I ASKED the system to navigate to. I'm curious whether it records where I've been if I haven't asked it do anything and I'm just driving around.
I know in our modern police state that individual privacy is virtually nonexistent, but I'd also like to know if a device I theoretically own is monitoring me without my knowledge.
