Multi-component integration...
Just curious if anyone knows if there is a way to integrate both an XM and an iPod Nano into the stock head unit. Just not sure if they use the same connectors or not. I emailed Blitzsafe too, but thought I may get a quicker reply from you guys. TIA.
The audio from the SAT tuner goes to the headunit audio input.
The audio from the ipod interface goes to the audio inputs on the SAT tuner.
Easily done.
Bottom line:
1) Sym II with SAT button, OEM XM tuner and ipod nano via icelink/audi ipod adaptor is very doable...but will probably cost you about $600+ in parts. On the plus side, the integration, look and feel will be well worth the $$.
2) Existing Sym II without SAT button, aftermarket XM tuner and switching device...some RCA cables...and you are in business for about $200. Your dash will be a bit cluttered...so you'll have to be creative on where you locate your nano etc.
do a search in this forum...as this question comes up a lot.
Good luck!!<ul><li><a href="http://www.logjamelectronics.com/auxaudi.html">http://www.logjamelectronics.com/auxaudi.html</a</li></ul>
