Non-Bose B5 S4 Speaker Upgrade

Non-Bose B5 S4 Speaker Upgrade
Hey there audiworld members. I don't use the forums much and post much of anything because I do my own work but this I'm going to need a little help on. I've done a bunch of searching but am having trouble finding what I'm looking for.
My B5 S4's front speakers are blown and my initial intention was to get them all replaced with something slightly better. I wanted to keep it simple but its not looking simple so far.
I have the non-Bose system so the amp is located on the LR deck lid speaker. This means I MUST get an external amp, right?
What impedance speakers do I need to look for? Ive been reading 2 ohms and 4ohms, Cant find a Definite answer. I've been seeing a lot of recommendations for Infinity speakers so I was thinking a set of those in the front doors and deck lid.
What kind of amp would I need?
I was thinking about a infinity basslink (simple all-in-one bass) after I got done with all the speakers, but would it be a better idea to get one amp for all the speakers and the sub?
