quick audio question

i've just gotten a '93 S4 with all the bells and whistles, including the Bose audio system with trunk mounted cd changer. i'm not a huge fan of trunk mounted CD changers...i always forget what's in the car and i think its a PITA to get at them.

i have an old Blaupunkt Denver cd player that i pulled out of a '90 90 20v sedan last year. it looks like there are VAG compatible plugs on the back. do you guys think it would be plug and play with the rest of the Bose system?

doubtfull, but I'd try it. Protocol issues would prevent it, I suspect

What protocol? 12V and ground?

if he wants to connect the OEM changer with the new H/U, protocol conflicts would prevent it from

working, plug compatible or not.

I see. I read it that way now too. re-wiring the plug might be in order then.
