Finally, it's back.
It's almost like having a new car again. It still smells new (amazing what 2 months apart does for you) and still drives as well as before. In fact, they did a wheel alignment, and it actually drives better than before.
After driving an AU III Fairmont Ghia (the HMAS Fairmont, as I dubbed it, based on its boat-like handling) for the last few weeks, the A4 is like chalk and cheese. I now remember why I bought an Audi.
I haven't been over the car with a fine tooth comb, but so far it seems a pretty impressive job. A couple of coworkers (fastidious car owners with heaps of experience with repair work) found a couple of things, but nothing that the average person would ever see.
