Anyway to get rid of swirls and light scratches in faux wood and aluminum trim?

What faux wood? Audis have real wood veneers.
I like Plexus on the wood, with 3M plastic polish for deeper scratches. As for aluminum, it's probably coated, so it's going to be tough to remove those scratches since any polish you use is likely to start stripping the coating, resulting in a much bigger mess than the scratch you started with.

It's real wood but you are polishing the coating on top of the wood. I have used Meguirers Plexiglas
polish on the wood to get rid of small scratches/haze. Normal treatment is Plexus for me. I don't have that damned scratch magnet around my shifter. I REALLY think I would pull it and paint it if I had one.
