Audi A4 Grey Oak Inlays Maintenance
Hi
I am exactly not sure if the grey oak inlays of the 2017 Audi A4 are actually wood or plastic. Since they have a dull finish I think it doesn't make sense to polish it. However, I see lot of dust being accumulated. How is everyone cleaning or maintaining the inlays?
Thanks
Mark

Fyi regarding your first comment (id be interested to hear the cleaning techniques advised as well, about to take delivery of a car with gray oak), according to my salesman the gray oak is a special open cell stabilized wood (so its sort of both wood and 'plastic' [actually some sort of resin])

Just received my car with the oak grey inlays, I love the way it looks.
Really would like to hear some tips on how to maintain them. I do use a leather conditioner for my seats, doors and even the dash, but I'm quite hesitant to put it on the inlays because of how it 'looks' porous.
