Getting Started
Oh and I do not have alot of advanced experience with washing cars so any help on the proper steps and order would be good too.
Welcome to the slippery slope.
I know its conveinent to buy your goodies at target, or fred meyer, but keep in mind those products are a dime a dozen. Products like Prima, Menzerna, Blackfire, and many others will last longer and provide a better result.
I'd photodocument the heck out of what's going on with your body work.
Use this as an opportunity to make the leap into detailing. If you've got the coin, get yourself a good starter kit (Adams, a forum sponsor, has some great kits), do the suggested readings, and give your car a good detail. Then, take a bunch of pics showing the crappy job that the autobody shop did. Take it back to them and thoroughly go over what needs to be fixed. Let them have a go at it. If they blow it, take more pics (lots) and then take it to another shop and have them fix it. Then, take the original shop to small claims court to have them foot the bill for both the bad work they did and the repair work you had to have done. I hate to suggest court, but the threat of it may be enough to get the ball rolling on getting this bum shop to take care of you.
Good luck.
