But seriously, I have to doubt that your problem was anywhere near bad enough to merit even light, let alone medium, compounding. You're really going to need to take it step by step to recover your finish. I'd go over it gently with light compound next, followed by 3M Swirl Mark Remover or Menzerna Intensive Polish, both of which will remove compounding marks, but both will also leave your finish less than perfect.
To perfect it, the next step is 3M IHG/IMG or Menzerna Final Polish, then finally you'll need to wax of course. Good Luck!!
