Thanks - I have pretty much finalized what I need to order. FWIW I found a Porter Cable 7336 I think it is locally at a yard sale for $60. Complete package with sander and polisher pad brand new unused in box.... so i am going to try it and see how i like it.

I had planned to get a Flex unit from you - but I figured for the $60 I'd try the PC first. Hard to pass up.

Do i need a new counterbalance or anything for that unit? I guess i need a new backing pad and pads for it though.

Again, sorry to not have gotten back to your email - i will get you a good list asap. Things have been crazy here.

get a 5 inch backing plate and some uber 5.5 inch pads and you are good to go
