odd request: driving tips for avoiding bug guts?
as a possible data point: i've noticed that if i shadow a car in the same lane (but at a safe distance to avoid rock chips), i seem to have fewer guts than otherwise -- which sort of makes sense since the guy ahead of me is taking care of them ;-)
Okay, seriously, if you ever looking at a wind tunnel picture, you'd see air slides right over a car, and eventually get's drawn immediately behind the car. If you're going to use another car as a shield, you're going to have to draft NASCAR style, and surely you'll pick up rock chips as a result.
So...back to swerving quickly. With the right suspension, a good set of tires, and some quick reflexes, well...I wish you luck.
Alternatively, Griots now sells a product that helps repel the guts and lets them come off more easily. Or so they say.
