stepped up my MF supply, thanks phil!
got 6 of Phil's "uber" MF on sale. i'll use these just for buffing off polish/sealant/wax/QD. my Sam's Club MF will be downgraded to wheels, door jambs, interior, etc.

well, i figure if i apply polish, seal, and wax with PC, i will use about 2 towels after each to...
remove and buff. i have about 20 Sam's Club MF for back-up. i have a bottle of Sonus Der Wunder Wasche.
i may buy a few more from Phil next time i need supplies.

And I'm not quite so meticulous about the TL...can't wait to go back to Germans!
I'll typically go through a bunch on the polishing steps. I usually have two handy, one for bulk polish removal, and one for the final buff after each stage (which eventually gets demoted for bulk removal). One a single polishing stage, I'll go through 4-6 towels, assuming nothing gets dropped or picks up dirt/debris from somewhere (in which case it goes in the hopper and is replaced immediately). For wax I apply the two towel method as well, however 2-3 will generally do the trick for the entire car.
To summarize, for 2 stages of polish and wax, I'll burn through 12-14 towels. But I'll usually be liberal with towel usage because I have more than enough, and I can fill up the washing machine when I'm done.

maybe i should have bought more, but this is my first try with "premium" MF. i've been more then...
happy with the MF from Sam's. To be totally honest, i don't see a huge difference. Phil's MF feels softer, i'll see after a few uses.
I'm still using the same set you gave me + what I had. thanks!
