Problems trying to re-code ABS module/steering angle sensor...
After attempting some instructions found on this forum, I am still having problems coding the abs module. The software code stays all zero's and when I do the steering angle calibration, I get an error. Can someone please provide me with the correct login numbers as well as the software code for the ABS module? The car is an 02 Audi S4 (B5) w/ESP. We tried and tried but when we were able to get one code to stick, it would eventually revert back to zero's when you restart VAG. Thanks for any help. Some detailed instructions as to how to correctly do this would also be helpful.

depends on a few things
if the control module part number is 4B0 907 389 then you can not code the module
If you can code your control module then
manual trans login code is 09495
auto trans login code is 09497
the code for manual s4 is 04395
the code for auto s4 is 04397
clear as mud?
if this does not work then give me an email or follow on this post

We followed these steps. But it still reads -900 plus degrees

Did you guys checked wiring to the steering wheel sensor , could be a wire be damaged, or perhaps the sensor is bad, and it needs to be replaced...
