Default End of the back straight, but into turn 4. Same place the Aston crashed a few years back

They changed the design and safety of the turn (for the better) after the below linked crash.

It's obviously not enough.

That T2 Nissan was maybe doing 145mph. Imagine the magnitude of a car going 180-200mph, as with an R10 or a Indycar.

The Nissan ended up where many campers park (tents and RV's) themselves for the weekend. Mid O obviously needs to address this a bit more.

Kink on the back straight is turn three, hence the crash is at turn four, the right hander. That sand area is called "China Beach", for anyone who cares.

Default Datsun. They're like Bic lighters. When they break, your dispose of the and buy a new one.

Kidding, of course.

Default As always, Mike is correct...

I'm used to the DE numbers for turns, so I stand corrected. and you're right about having made it better but still not enough. My sister ended up in China Beach in a DE, and went almost 1/2 way through and wasn't carrying anywhere near that speed.

Default Far from always. I only know it as turn four. Guess the DE chicane being added changes that.

Yah, it's pretty bad. The car ended up where many a motorhome parks. Would have definitely hit it and people.
