Some of you may be fortunate enough to know Jim. He has attended some of our events, with his Carrera GT. Jim Baur had a bicycle accident last Thursday. He hit a pothole and did an end over. He broke his pelvis in several places and has had some major surgury. He will be moved to an in-house therapy in the coming weeks to learn how to walk again. I spoke with his wife. She says he is in good spirits despite being cooped up. If you have any desire to send along a message, I am putting together a "care package" for his hospital stay. Give me a call if you wish to include anything, or have any questions. You are welcome to drop any items by the Prairie Hills office in Hinsdale. I will send the package begining of next week.

Thats awful.
He might be able to file a claim against the city/town.
I know its a long shot but thats serious business when you break a pelvis.
I'm sure he is considering what/any action to take but that really stinks.
