Default At least you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee while you wait. hehe

I saw or heard a news story about your firm laying off employees AND no free coffee for those left to soldier on.

Default But they do have the beautiful sky lobby...

The article also stated the MWE dropped the evening food service. I recall having a client at that firm that provided us with a very nice lunch and dinner during visits to their office.

Default I can speak to the atypical prosecution histories.

Does the name Lemelson sound familiar?

Default the dinner program was a nice perk

I tried not to use it too often. I hear it was quite expensive. The free coffee was not expensive, but still apparently too much.

Default You might want to check out the reasons for rejection, no?

Should give you some insights as to what else is out there, how this may be different, and the likelihood of your potential client eventually getting his patent.

p.s. often the rejection letter is publicly available.

Thankfully, those prosecution histories have been legislated into the past.

Default Re: the dinner program was a nice perk

I was always surprised by the dinner menu. The only "business" with a better lunch plan was the Chicago Fed.

Default Yes, thank you.

I have the rejection letter, the original filing and a mountain of paperwork. While the patent status does concern me, there are some technical issues with the product that make the venture questionable - especially when combined with the prospect of a patent appeal.

I'll explain the product to you when we have a chance to chat.

At a certain point, my BS alarm goes off and I'm getting a big whiff of it the more I read.
