What to do??

Apparently Audi is delaying production on 3.2 6 speed TT's. Not so much delaying but there is only certain allotments or some crazyness so instead of seeing the car I ordered in the 6-8 week range more like December if I am lucky but more than likely January. DSG's however are available now. So, do I wait for the 6 speed or get a DSG? I like driving a stick, but the DSG does have launch control which is nice.

I've driven only one DSG, a VW GTI, but I was not a fan.

It gave the sensation that the engine was going to stall every time the car came to a stop. IE the programming kept the clutch engaged a few hundred RPMs too long as the car came to a stop and it sent shudders through the chassis. Salesman said it was normal. I said no thanks.

While you're waiting, come on out to PA and replace my turbos?

Grenaded the left turbo. Aparently there's schrapnel in the exhaust and oil in the coolant. So new turbos, turbo oil feed and return lines, radiator, and reservoir.

My two cents- wait for what you want. If it's only 6-8 weeks in the dead of winter, just hold tight.

I drove a GTI and an A3, didn't have that happen. Russ, I would wait.

driven a bunch of DSG cars and i'm simply not a fan.

it's too boring and i still run into problems with it shifting when I want it to. unless you sit in horrible traffic everyday, wait for the manual trans.
