From the Audi USA press release -->>
"The 180-horsepower Coupe and Roadster models feature the FrontTrak® front-wheel drive system and a six-speed automatic transmission, marking the first application of an automatic transmission in the TT. The six gears result in improved performance with the gear ratios closely matched to the engine's performance characteristics. The automatic transmission is a welcome alternative for drivers who prefer convenient, carefree shifting.
The sporty 180-hp model has a peak torque of 173 lbs. ft. at 1,950-4,700 revolutions per minute, and features Tiptronic® steering wheel-mounted gear shifting controls. The front-wheel drive Coupe with six-speed automatic transmission has a 0-60 miles-per-hour time of 7.9 seconds, while the 180-hp Roadster accelerates from 0-60 mph in 8.1 seconds."
