Can't login to new software..

Can't login to new software..
If I try to log in, I get:

An error occured while logging into account with email [my e-mail addr. here]
Cookie was not set properly, old cookie still present?
---
Have I been banished..?

No, it seems your web browser is ignoring us for some reason
It didn't delete the old one and set a new cookie. Your browser may be overloaded with cookies and is ignoring new ones or perhaps you are using some filtering software?
I'll go out on a limb and say you're using MSIE, right?

Hmm...
The behavior is kind of bizarre. I had been logged in under the old s/w and when I came here I saw I wasn't logged in. So I tried to log in and got the error msg. Went back to the old s/w and I was still not logged in.
So I logged in and logged out (thinking that would delete the old cookie). Came back to the new s/w and still cannot log in (same error). Went back to the old s/w, logged in ok, came back to the new s/w, and now I'm still logged in! Go figure...
Unfortunately, yes, I'm using IE 5.5 (v5.50.4134.0600 on NT 4.0 SP5)...
