Default make the url image clickable.

thanks.

.. 90% of the time people don't include text when they include a link, so why have to open the message to click on the link? have that url image clickable.

look! it's clickable!

it will probably also save you a few hundred megs worth of bandwidth a month at least ( still negligable.) by not loading signatures.

https://forums.audiworld.com/feedback/msgs/20338.phtml</a

Default There may be more then one url. Maybe if a window were to open that would show only the url(s)

That would be nice.

Default Actually that URL logo will only come up if something entered in the Optional Link URL box

So there couldn't be more than 1 link...

If a person set the links themselves using HTML the URL graphic wouldn't show up.

This is an interesting idea, although it would cut down on banner views too.

Default It would cut down on the banner views :( Maybe if the banners would still display.

It could save a lot of bandwidth from not having sigs showing.

Another really neat idea would be to have the same thing with pictures. This way if someone wanted to view the pictures from a post they would open in a seperate window. This again would save bandwidth, as sigs would not display. Yet banner ads could still be shown.

Making these changes would be very hard to do. And probally take too much personal time for Johannes to be able to do it..........

Default Actually these changes don't seem that hard

But the point I was making is that we aren't so concerned about the negligible bandwidth of loading sigs (which are probably cached in some cases anyway) versus the positive aspect of showing ads for our advertisers.

Oh, I see. There would be no way to still display the banner ads if a window were to pop up?

Default URL icon comes up if any URL is detected, not just those entered in the Optional box

This was nested directly in the message

this too

Neither of the above were entered in the Optional Link URL box.

Default Who asked you? :-)

I was actually wondering if I'd be wrong when I typed that. Oh well. I still don't see this as a feature coming out soon.
