Default From an IT point of view

standardizing your platforms makes support and innovation easier. When you have too many differing systems, you can't move forward with your strategy. So from that point, I get why they are doing this.

That said, I frequent a lot of forums and this format is the easiest to read and use and I also agree with the person who posted that this format is conducive to mobile web content.

IB should learn from the successes of this site and incorporate as much of it into the new site.

One other thing, a large percentage of IT projects fail because the user community isnt involved enough so the system isnt designed with them in mind and in the end they reject it or end up having a huge learning curve that people will leave or alienate the already alienated IT Department.

In effect, a corporation can force change on their employees or change the employees, but a community could just as easily pick up and move to something more favorable to them.
