Problems with Electrics A4 2.8i
Hello all. Ive got massive problems with electrics in car & have been led to believe this is the place to ask? My beauty was first registered in 99. Shes a A4 2.8i SE. My first problem was the windows just werent functioning (even with the key fob). They now dont open atall. Then the central locking just suddenly stopped working about 2 weeks ago. I kinda got round this problem. A friend yanked open the petrol flap, so I can put some fuel in to go to work. But I really am at the end of my of my wits now! I work nights and am really worried cos the lights are flashing intermittently on the radio unit. I know she has some back-up power but...
My thoughts are that it is an electric fault somewhere??
Has anyone else had this problem?
How can I get a diagnosis for this problem? Some direction would be very much appreciated
I live in a very, very rural place. 140 miles to the nearest city. So am very limited to a few mechanics. Who suck air through there teeth too much for my licking.

First wrong forum - you should be in the A4 B5 forum
Second get a VAG-COM to help and second get a Bentley manual. You will have to be the person who learns about the car since you can't rely on the locals.
You can do searches on the A4 forum for individual issues and that may save you some diagnosis time
