Request for a new forum:
Can we have a "Fun" Forum? This would be a forum where it's ok to post something that is otherwise the topic of another forum (i.e. sports or politics) but you are posting it for humorous purposes, not to engage in a substantice debate. I think that this would serve to significantly bring down the blood pressure of the "wrong forum" *****. These guys spend an aweful amount of time policing the OT forum for any mentions of anything that is remotely connected to another forum, regardless of the substance of the post. They need a rest. I, for one, do not want the death of one of these guys on my conscience.

I get nothing but feedback from some of those guys. Some of them just wear panties
that are WAY too tight, has them all riled up over nothing. I'm currently getting bashed by some loser because he didn't like that I told a joke about Bush.

Ever since creation of the politics forum AWOT has calmed down in regards to raging political debates. A lot of people (including me) like it that way and wish to keep it so. Making Bush jokes is fine by me and I suspect the people who chided you just want to prevent that kind of post to avoid being flooded w pol fanatics of either side.
I'm not defending the attacks you had to take, but I'm suggesting you man up and just shrug it off.
