Search recent threads?

Johannes, has there been any progress on giving us the ability to search recent threads? Currently the search will not turn up threads posted since Jan or Feb of this year.

I now understand many threads were lost in a conversion, but I cannot even pull up threads that were posted in the past week or so.

Or is there a way to do this that I haven't figured out?

There is no way. I'm still working on the search engine

I'm having some performance problems with it still. I'm looking into what else I can do about it.

It would be really nice to be able to search based on Poster's Name, Subject, or Body, as desired

or a combination there of.

like when you know who posted a message, so you just want to search through their messages. As important when I am searching for something *I* posted more than 2 weeks ago (I LOVE the tracking page for the recent stuff - it's AWESOME!!!)

I'll put it on the list, but I dunno how easy it will be to search any of those 3. It'll search on all of those 3 right now.

Are you searching more than one database? Or were you able to convert the old forum(s) into the new format and merge them together?

I don't have the patience to try going back that far to find out...
