What about a user blocking list?
I know this is probably impractical with a message board format, but a feature I've really wanted of late is a way for an individual user to add other users to a block list.
For example, I could add certain users who I won't mention here to my block list so that I wouldn't have to scroll past their inane pointless posts.

OK, the more I think about this the only place it probably makes sense is the OT forum, since in theory I could turn off the 'view OT posts' preference and OT posts in car forums would disappear.
I guess I'll just avoid the OT forum ::shrug:: it used to be fun before some idiots began to monopolize it.
