Default why was this deleted?

it was not **** - as is ALLOT of things posted on AW OT forum - it was a nice, cute little post about flowers.
was it the comment about TT drivers in the subject line? -
A. come on you can't take a joke?
B. what was soo offensive?

it's really no big deal - but when there's stuff like this:

on the same page as my post - i dont see how my post above could have been soo offensive as to merit a deletion; my post is'nt even in the same league as what i posted above.

sorry for the rant - jst wanted to share my feelings.

Alex

Default The whole TT / gay thing is pointless

No gay bashing, or subtle gay bashing allowed. The TT thing is done on this website as far as I'm concerned and moderators have been instructed to delete questionable posts.

Let me turn it back to you - what's so important about getting in a gay dig about TT owners? What exactly is your intention?

Default i'm asian - i'm offened by the enclosed post.............

i see your point, but if you are going to have "standards" by which moderators delete posts, then should'nt the following post also be deleted?

I'm asian and i feel that this post was offensive.
it's the same exact type of thing that i posted, only that it's directed at different population.

Default Well...

the poster in that post was Asian.

Are you gay, a TT owner, or a gardener?

Default I think you are really grasping

First of all it didn't imply that being an Asian was a bad thing; there was no apparent bashing. Second it was a link off the site; people on other websites can say whatever they want and we can't control it. Third it hasn't been happening on a repeated basis; the gay TT thing comes up a lot.

I will repeat - whoever thought up the gay TT thing is just plain stupid. I have no idea what a gay-person's car would be (does anybody?), and less of an idea what makes people think the TT might be one. And if somebody showed me a stat that said that 75% of all TT owners were gay, then even that wouldn't be an excuse to systematically and unilaterally bash all TT owners as homosexual. It is a dangerous generalization and some posters have a tendency to insinuate hateful things without much of a thought.

I am not trying to blow your post out of proportion because I know it was minor. But there is a bigger underlying point here.
