Default This would be sweet..

Giving users the ability to directly click the url/pic icon next to a topic instead of having to click twice to get to a link, and giving them the option to open the picture in a separte window. This would send them to the destination of the pic or url instead of having to click the topic than either view the picture through the topic thread window, or click another link posted inside the topic.

Just think of the amount of time saved, coolness factor, and convience if you so choose to take the short cut right the url, or picture...especially if the topic is self-explanatory.

Default well.... what if there is more than one url or pic?

and most people want to know what the url is they are clicking on before clicking it

might be cool for some threads though

Default Old suggestion that won't be implemented

For exactly the reasons that EGainer described. Clicking on the pic icon gives you no benefit. It's one click either way and will only confuse you when there are multiple pictures.
