2005 B6 54K (Had it 27 months, I know, I drive alot, never planned on it, thats NOT the whole problem) 1.8T CVT SE (Special Edition was the last run before the B7- comes with trunk lip, sport suspension, home link, and both front seats full power) Silver outside all black inside PERFECT condition, not a scratch on my car, dealer offers $15K......... offers to put me into an 07 B7 former loaner car with 8K on the clock, winter package black on black, sun roof, etc........ "with 8K on the clock".

Here is the catch, some may remember I posted a comment that I "blew" my TCM on my current car only 3K over the warranty, long story short I argued the situation and Audi paid (post warranty) for the TCM (2K plus) but realizes I have lost confidence and I recognize I made a HUGE mistake not getting an exended warranty when I purchased the car........... now I'm out of warranty and nervous, they claim they want me "happy"

The move to the proposed car will give me an 07 B7 with 8K on the clock, CERTIFIED Warranty for 100K (CVT), still leaves with me a CVT, minus the extras that came with my current car.....

Love Audi since I was kid, my granfather, father, mother, etc have had Audis, don't want to leave but is this the best way out of my car? Payment will move up by $30 per month and a 100K warranty built in for a two year newer car, but still CVT.

PS: Dealer throws in Free Tint and wheel swap to keep my after market wheels. (putting my old wheels and tires on the B6, taking home new B7 wheels and tires)

What do you think? What would you do? I know I screwed up by not getting the extended warranty when I got the car but I never thought I would put the miles on I have (LONG LONG STORY), be honest..............

Damn, I was in a B7 loaner last week with 4500mi and it was a ragged out POS.. Be Careful...

 

I always recommend staying FAR FAR FAR away from CVTs.

 

Don't let the supposed good deal reel you in to something you won't want in a month or two.
