My Speedmount Prototype
After a week of waiting for the compact ball head to come in, I finally finished the first version of my so called speed mount. Just need a camera to test it with. I think I am going to use solid bar stock next time and something else to use besides the bolts and wingnuts. This one might be for sale. Any takers?

Yeah, cause we all know roll bars are made from solid steel
If its a good aluminum, 6061 T6 or a 7000 series (7075), it will be fine. If you do decide to stay hollow, structurally, round is better than square.
