Reader Poll: Gas pumping preference.
Personally unless I'm on extreme empty I go for the one that has a separate hose for each grade. That way I know that every drop was 93 octane.
This link shows 2 tenths of a gallon are left in the hose. So how can you calculate the profit made every time a "premium" customer pulls up right after a "regular" customer?
^^^ Never mind...it would wash when the next customer pays regular price for premium gas...

http://www.nbc4.com/consumer/16667938/detail.html</a

87.5, 89.5, 93.5
I figured they just didn't have the right stickers, and used those, since all the other pumps I could see looked like the normal ones without the extra half-octane.
Reminded me of Spinal Tap "But these pumps go to 11!"
