Split Second Booster?

I'm new to this board and also to Audi. I Just bought an 05 A4 1.8T. Does anyone know if this mod voids the factory warrany as this is a lease? Any suggestions?

For chips, do some research, talk to some Audi techs, and see what everyone is doing on the B6 forum.

I have an APR chip in my B6, and it is a blast. I would also recommend MTM (Hoppen motorsports in Sarasota is the US Distributor for them), and we even have a Revo Rep here in our FL forum who can give you lots of advice.

I've had one. I took it out and put in a chip. Definitely a big improvement with the chip.

The BCS ups the boost to the max of the stock fuel map. The A/F ratio will be fine as far as detonation goes, but the chip tuners run it a lot richer to keep the turbo from over heating.

ITs actually not a bad product when used with their A/F controller, but thats a lot of work and dyno time that could be prevented by an off the shelf chip.

Don't use it in your Audi, or any newer, advanced computer-controlled car.

It is great for the old Bosch Motronic and DME stuff.. But the newer chips blow the S/S away.

I'm in Orlando...got my car at classic Audi a few weeks ago. Id like an APR chip. Could you recommend a tech to install it? I don't want to take any chances with a brand new car! (did that once before BIG MISTAKE!)

If you want APR, go in to Classic and ask to speak with Jorge (pronounce it George) Ruiz, he is the tech who deals with APR.

Also, if you would like to join the Audi Club of Florida, drop me an email. We have monthly meetings and lots of events throughout the year. You just missed our annual holiday party this past Friday...it was one heck of a party.

Forget APR!!!!!!.........................................

as of late, their customer service SUCKS!!! and they have been having issues with shipping---they must have gotten to big for themselves--i guess there counting on the Porche owners to carry them on into the future.---look at REVO or MTM.
