quick value question...
how much would one negotiate the price to on an '06 A3 w/ 37k miles (6spd 2.0t) on it. It's got sport/premium/cold package. Also, HID's and premium audio. They are asking 22995.

I always just ask how much the dealer has into it and how much do they want to make on it
especially if the car has been there for more than 30 days. If they don't disclose the info, I leave.
A quick search on autotrader shows that that price is fair with the miles and CPO. I bet they have at least $3k to move, but would probably settle at $21k flat. leave your info before you leave when they say no and they'll call you the next day with a better offer, but not $21k. Offer $21k again. repeat. I'd also make sure the 30k or 40k "major" service has been done.
